Adoption Center: Building Forever Connections for Youth in Foster Care
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Adoption Center's mission is to build forever connections for youth in foster care. Over the years, we've facilitated the growth of nearly 25,000 families by connecting young individuals seeking support with families of diverse backgrounds willing to expand their homes to youth in foster care. Adoption Center serves as a crucial resource hub for families and agencies across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, simplifying the adoption process. Our public awareness, media advocacy, and recruitment initiatives share the compelling stories of youth in foster care, reaching prospective parents who may not have considered adoption before. Remarkably, 60% of the youth we work with find lasting connections with forever families. Our match events, designed to bring youth in care and prospective parents together through engaging activities, have proven highly successful. These events provide unique opportunities for individuals to forge meaningful connections, resulting in 2 out of 3 youth meeting families interested in adopting them. On average, seven matches arise from each event, showcasing the power of shared experiences.
